Always great food with super portion sizes and friendly service with a smile! We order take out often during the week, since it is easier to eat at the store than go sit down at the restaurant. Peggy has a super cute little country restaurant too.

The food is always good. No matter what you order. And hot when it gets to the table. Full drinks. And casual talk.

Quant place and very homey. The burger was a good portion and very tasty; wife & I thought they could have used a bit less salt, but still really good. Would def go again if we’re in the area. Make sure you have cash or a check with you.

We go here often. Not the fastest place in town but the service is great and the waitresses are amazing people that can cook amazing food.

This is a cute down home style diner. We had brunch and they were busy so maybe my experience was not up to their normal standards, but our breakfast took way to long to be served. Others coming in after us had their meal served and left before we had our food. The food was ok, nothing special for sure. Don't get the gravy. The pancakes are good though.

This is the best place that I have eaten at in a long time. My boyfriend ordered the Hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions smothered in brown gravy. The sides were mashed potatoes, pinto beans and a homemade yeast roll. He said it was the best he has ever eaten. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak smothered with white gravy, sides were mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread. I also had the dumplings and everything was awesome. Steak was tender (which is rare for me to find) cornbread was mouth watering. My boyfriend also said the roll just melted in his mouth. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was just what I was looking for after driving all day. Thank you, Peggy Sue. I highly recommend this place.

Smelled good but it was hard to find a parking space and no seat were available when I got in the door.

We stopped in for breakfast. This place is adorable. I love the decor and it was clean and cozy. The food came out in a snap and the employees were beyond friendly! The breakfast we ordered was very good! Easily 5 stars!

Absolutely loved it. Country cooking, had breakfast and lunch. Also had some lunch specials to go along with some homemade pies. All the waitresses were super nice and helped out a to. Will be back.

My nephew and I are visiting my grandma and mom in Searcy from Florida. We were out and about today near Heber Springs and got hungry. I found Peggy Sue's through google. We were not dissapointed!! Food is great, staff is friendly and welcoming, and service is quick! The only thing is they only accept cash!

Visiting from Texas, for a funeral. We came by twice and really enjoyed it!The staff was friendly and prompt. Our food was hot and fresh and we were very happy with the experience.

We wanted to check out this place because of the great reviews but were wildly disappointed. Upon arriving, there was a sign on the door saying “cash only.” I went inside & sat down with my daughter while my husband got back in the car & drove to find an ATM. The entire time he was gone, my daughter and I sat there unacknowledged. When my husband returned back to the restaurant with cash- we were STILL sitting there without drinks and had still not even been greeted by a single person. The waitresses were sitting down talking with restaurant regulars. They were on their phones at the cash register (I sat there long enough to hear an entire story about how one of their phones had gotten wet). I told my husband we wouldn’t eat there because of the extremely rude behavior. He went inside to ask what was the cause of this & all they could say was “I’m sorry. Please come back.” No chance.

I went there a few times for breakfast. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly.

We googled for a breakfast restaurant in Heber Springs and chose this one based on the reviews. Unfortunately it did not live up to its reputation. Though it was almost full when we arrived within minutes most of those folks had left. It took a while to get our menus and the friendly service spoken of in the reviews was sorely lacking. We ordered breakfast which was average at best. We waited quite a while for coffee refills and two of the drinks we ordered never arrived. We'll check this spot off our list.

We always try to find family places that are local too the area. It was delicious and friendly people. We will definitely be back when coming through again.

Peggy Sue is a family community type cafe. I called for directions and the lady gave me exact easy to follow instructions. We both had sandwiches which were very good with french fries which were not completely cooked for our liking. I would go back but ask for crispy fries.
